Cancellation and Refund Policy

This Cancellation and Refund Policy explains how bookings, cancellations, rescheduling, deposits and refunds are handled at Sharon McAllister Homeopathy.

Please read this policy carefully before booking a consultation.

2. Booking and Payment

A consultation is considered booked once your appointment has been successfully reserved through the online booking system and payment has been completed.

Payment is made securely online during the booking process.

3. Your Right to Cancel

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please let me know as soon as possible by email.

​

4. Cancellations Made With Sufficient Notice

If you cancel or reschedule more than 48 hours before your appointment, you may either:

• Receive a full refund, or

• Transfer your appointment to another available appointment time.

5. Late Cancellations

If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment, the consultation fee is normally non-refundable.

This is because the appointment time has been reserved specifically for you and late notice may make it difficult to offer that time to another client.

6. Missed Appointments

If you do not attend your appointment, or fail to join the online consultation at the agreed time without notice, the consultation fee is normally non-refundable.

7. Rescheduling

Where possible, I will do my best to accommodate requests to rearrange appointments.

If more than 48 hours’ notice is given, appointments may be rescheduled without charge.

Repeated changes or short-notice rescheduling may be treated as a cancellation.

8. If I Need to Cancel or Rearrange

If I need to cancel or rearrange your appointment for any reason, I will provide as much notice as possible.

You will be offered either:

• A new appointment date, or

• A full refund of any payment already made.

9. Refunds After a Consultation Has Taken Place

Once a consultation has taken place, fees are normally non-refundable.

This is because time, professional expertise and preparation have already been provided.

However, if there has been an error in charging or another exceptional issue, this will of course be considered fairly and reasonably.

10. Technical Problems During Online Consultations

If a consultation is significantly disrupted by technical problems beyond your control or mine, I will use reasonable judgement to decide whether to:

• Continue by another agreed method
• Rearrange the appointment
• Offer a full or partial refund where appropriate

11. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to remove or limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

Where the law gives you rights that go beyond this policy, those rights will still apply. Consumers in the EU generally have a 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts for services, and traders must inform consumers about that right; if they fail to do so, the withdrawal period can be extended.

12. Exercising Any Legal Right of Withdrawal

If you wish to cancel under any legal right of withdrawal that applies to your booking, please contact me at:

Please include your name, the date of booking, and the appointment details.

If you have specifically asked for the service to begin within any statutory withdrawal period, you may still be liable for the proportion of the service already provided, where the law allows this.
